Experienced and tenured group of entrepreneurs, technologists, engineers, and executives responsible for managing all elements of strategy, finance, product, and operations for Digital Harmonic.
Paul Reed Smith, Founder

Paul Reed Smith is the Managing General Partner of PRS Guitars, Limited Partnership and has held that position for over 30 years. The fundamental technology of Digital Harmonic was developed by Paul and his father, Jack Smith, who was an applied mathematician. Paul has received many awards, including the 2002 Maryland Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. SBA. Paul acts as adviser and manager of the company.

Scott Haiges, Chief Executive Officer

Executive leader with over twenty years of experience building and selling technology companies, taking them from early-stage development to product-market fit, commercial success, and exit. Most recently Scott was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at a venture capital firm, Aspire Ventures, which he joined after a successful exit of a marketing technology company which he founded. Scott is responsible for the company’s operations and business development.

Mason Baron, Chief Technology Officer 

With years of software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, surveillance reconnaissance systems design, imagery, signal, and radar processing experience, Mason leads the technology department as the Chief Technology Officer. Mason served as Chief Engineer of Battle Force Projects at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory prior to his position as Minotaur Chief Naval Architect at Alion Science and Technology. In those roles, Mason led the design, development and fielding of several significant improvements to airborne surface search radar, video, signal and multi-intelligence data fusion processing that set the current state of the art.

Shane Morris, Chief Scientific Officer 

Shane has been involved in product development for over 30 years. He has been nominated for awards by his peers in the professional audio community for many of his designs. Prior to Digital Harmonic he was the Senior Technology Engineer at PRS Technology, a subsidiary of PRS Guitars, where he was responsible for all aspects of development and support of all PRS Technology. 

Timothy Stefanick, Vice President of Business Development 

Tim leads the company’s federal business operations. He served 20+ years as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps in a variety of staff and command positions in combat and peacetime operations. Most recently, he created and co-led the first US Government inter-agency organization to counter terrorist finance. In his previous role, Mr. Stefanick served as Military Aide and Emergency Operations Officer for two Vice Presidents of the United States.
